∞ARITA featured in media outlets

∞ARITA was featured in a few media outlets regarding our exhibit at NY NOW. Both highlights ∞ARITA as one of the “Made in Japan” companies that participated this summer.


Japanese companies JETRO and MIJP exhibits at NY NOW and introduces products

NY NOW, a trade show focusing on lifestyle and gifts for the home, was held at Javits Center from August 12th to 15th. 2,300+ brands that exhibited from all over the world. At JETRO’s Japan Pavilion, 25 companies with various products such as wood boards made of wood and irogami (Japanese colored paper), wooden speakers and clips. At MADE IN JAPAN PROJECT INC.’s booth, 12 companies, which included Arita ware such as jewelry and figurines and Kasuri clothes, were introduced.


NY NOW, a trade show that introduces home goods, tableware and textiles, took place at Javits Center from August 12th to 15th. It was once again divided into three sections: Home, Lifestyle and Handmade, and buyers from all over the states attended.

Following their debut at the February winter show, ∞ARITA, a group of eight brands of Arita ware (sponsored by Saga Prefectural Government) exhibited their products that were made particularly for the U.S. market, and introducing a totally “new Arita ware”.

MADE IN JAPAN PROJECT INC. (MIJP), the company supporting ∞ARITA, also introduced ceramics and textiles along with ∞ARITA, as they focus on bringing light to “made in Japan” products and the growth of local areas in Japan. Their new store opening this fall in SoHo, will display products from ∞ARITA, and held a pre-opening event on the 13th to introduce the space.

Also exhibiting at NY NOW was Gallery 91, which marked their 31st year as an exhibitor. They displayed numerous paper products such as the Kenki series.

Other Japanese exhibitors were carmine (accessories and jewelry) and Nippon Kodo (incenses), and all drew attention of buyers.
